Randall-Paulson Architects (RPA), the award-winning Roswell, Georgia based planning, design and architectural firm announced that construction recently began on the firm’s design for a 1,000,000 SF distribution center for Kraft Foods, Inc. in Union City, Georgia.

The facility, designed to apply for LEED certified status, includes refrigerated, freezer and dry storage warehouse areas as well as 25,000 SF of two (2) story commercial office space. The facility will serve Kraft Foods Southeastern U.S. distribution needs.

Michael B. Randall, AIA, Principal, said that Randall-Paulson Architects was awarded the design of the facility in 2009. The project is being developed by Majestic Realty and built by Commerce Construction. Construction is expected to be complete by late December 2010.

Distribution/Light Industrial design has been a core service area at Randall-Paulson Architects since the firm was founded in 1993. Project types include build-to-suit and speculative facilities, often incorporating corporate office interiors.
