Rogerson Communities in Roslindale is an elder-housing community that includes 83 low-income apartments, 17 residential co-op units and adult day healthcare programs for very low-income seniors. The development is leading the way in establishing the service coordinator model for independent elder housing. President James F. Seagle, Jr. will lead the Design for Aging Committee on a tour of the community on November 15 at 5:15 pm at starting at Rogerson headquarters (One Florence Street, Roslindale). We will address the design considerations of the development, such as social spaces, space for service providers, equipment and apartment layout and the utility of the architect during planning and fundraising and beyond.
